Pet Blessing Service

Join us at Greyfriars Kirk in Edinburgh's Old Town for the Annual Capital City Blessing of the Animals!

Bring your animals for an inspiring service featuring leaders of all faiths and none celebrating all of the animals.

Following the service inside the kirk, participate in a Pet Parade in the kirkyard, Wreath Laying at Bobby's Grave, and Pet and Human Reception.

A leaving collection will be invited to benefit the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home. Foodbank donations of tinned and dried goods are also most welcome.

Peace Walk

Join us on our annual walk of Peace and Unity as we visit just some of Edinburgh’s many different places of worship. We’ll be hosted by variety of people who use these sacred spaces and learn more about their faith and practices, as well as being shown around the buildings and places. We will also meet members of many other faith communities in and around Edinburgh and have a chance to talk and share stories with people from all sorts of religious backgrounds.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you have a faith or not, are curious about what’s behind the doors of some of the city’s religious buildings, or want to explore religion and spirituality, feel free to join for as little or as long as you wish.

Please wear comfortable shoes and modest clothing, and please be aware some places of worship request you to remove your shoes before entering certain areas.
